El-Afkar : Jurnal Pemikiran Keislaman dan Tafsir Hadis is an academic journal published by Faculty of Ushuluddin, Adab, and Da'wah of Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Bengkulu. This journal publishes original researches in multi concepts, theories, perspectives, paradigms and methodologies on ushuluddin studies. El-Afkar : Jurnal Pemikiran Keislaman dan Tafsir Hadis published biannually (June-December). Previously, 8 volumes were routinely published in June and December. In history, El-Afkar : Jurnal Pemikiran Keislaman dan Tafsir Hadis first printed on June, 2012, but get permission p-issn in 2015. Online journals began in Vol. 4, No. 1, 2015. Receiving an electronic license from Lipi in July 2019. El-Afkar: Jurnal Pemikiran Keislaman dan Tafsir Hadis obtains SINTA  National Accreditation Ranking according to Adjudication of The General Director of Research and Development, Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education number: 0385/E5.3/KI.02.00/2022. It refers to the Accreditation Ranking of Scientific Published Journal period I of 2022 and valid for five years, until 2025.

Every received article should follow author guideline. Any submitted paper will be reviewed by reviewers. Review process employs double-blind Review that the reviewer does not know the identity of the author, and the author does not know the identity of the reviewers. El-Afkar: Jurnal Pemikiran Keislaman dan Tafsir Hadis has become a CrossRef Member since the year 2017. Therefore, all articles published by El-Afkar: Jurnal Pemikiran Keislaman dan Tafsir Hadis will have unique DOI number.
