Author Guidelines
1. The Journal invites scholars and expert working in all displines in Islamic Studies and law.
2. Articles should be original, research-based, unpublished and not under review for possible publication in other journals.
3. Articles should be written in Indonesian, Arabic, English, or other international languages.
4. The manuscript contains scientific studies of islamic law sciences
5. Submissions must contain the elements:
a. The title with the center position uses the letters Capitalized Bold. The article title is printed in capital letter in the middle, with a letter of 17 points. Section headings are ranked in a different font (all section and subsection headings in bold or bold italic), and do not use numbers/numbers in section titles.
b. Author name (without academic degree), author affiliation following e-mail for easy communication.
c. Abstract; in English if the writing is in Indonesian, and in Indonesian if the writing is in English, Arabic or other international languages.
d. Abstract contains a maximum of 200-250 words.
e. Keywords between 3-7 concepts.
6. Paper format:
a. Introduction: explains the theoretical background, related research, the practical applications and the nature and purpose of the article.
b. Literature Review: The literature review shows a “knowledge map” related to the topic of study, provides theories and concepts that can sharpen the analysis and relies on reputable journal articles published no later than the last 10 years.
c. Methods: describes research type, the participants, the materials and the procedures employed in the study such as treatment(s) and data analysis.
d. Results and Discussion: Results should be clear and concise. Discussion should explore the significance of the results of the work, not repeat them. A combined Results and Discussion section is often appropriate. Extensive citations and discussion of published literature should be avoided.
e. Conclusion: The main conclusions of the study may be presented in a short conclusions section, which may stand alone or form a subsection of a discussion or Results and discussion section.
f. References: References are listed in alphabetical order. Each listed reference is cited in text, and Non-research papers include major theme, logical development of the theme, author's point of view, implications, inferences, or conclusions.
7. Manuscripts that are sent must follow the rules for writing scientific papers and observe the following conditions:
a. Manuscripts are typed in letters Candara.
b. Font size 11 pts.
c. The Manuscript is typed with 1 space.
d. The manuscripts is typed on A4 paper.
e. The manuscripts is 4.500 - 7.000 words (maximum) including abstract and references.
8. Submitted article contain manuscripts files and a short author’s bio, sent via OJS at https://ejournal.iainbengkulu.ac.id/index.php/mizani/index
9. Foreign language words or phrases are written in italics, while Arabic-Latin transliteration refers to Arabic-Indonesian transliteration according to the SKB 2 Menteri.
10. Compound words (idhafiyah) are written in a separate for words, such as Al-Islam wa Ushul al-Hukm, al’adalah al-ijtima’iyah.
11. All publications cited in the text must be included in the list of references. Ensure that any references cited in the text are included in the list of references or otherwise.
12. Writing footnote in Turobian style.
13. References of your manuscript must be up to date (in the last of 5 to 10 years and minimum of 30 references that 80% of the references is from primary sources/journal of international repute) and your reference can be accessed by anyone. Authors are responsible for ensuring that the information in each reference is complete and accurate. All references should be cited within the text; otherwise, these references will be automatically removed.
14. List of references alphabetically, chronologically, using Mendeley and choose Turabian style. For examples:

15. The procedure for presenting quotations, references, tables and pictures followes the provisions of the General Guidlines for Enhanced Indonesian Spelling (Depdikbud, 1987). Articles in English use standard styles.
16. The author of the article is given the opportunity to revise the manuscript based on recommendations/suggestions from bestari partner or editors.
17. Articles that do not meet the writing guidelines and have many errors will be rejected by the editor. The editor does not accept hard copy submissions. Juris articles in the online version in pdf format can be opened and accessed for free in this journal.
18. Everything related to licensing for citation or the use computer software for manuscripts or other matters related to intellectual property rights carried out by the author of the article, as well as any legal consequences that may arise because of it, is the full responsibility of the author of the article.
